90 Day: The Last Resort couple Jovi Dufren and Yara Zaya are unlike any other couples in the 90 Day Fiancé spin-off. Yara, 27, and Jovi, 32, were introduced in 90 Day Fiancé season 8. Ukraine native Yara moved to New Orleans on a K-1 visa but hated every moment she spent there. Jovi was not making Yara happy with his constant drinking and partying in strip clubs. Moreover, Yara became pregnant during her first three months in the U.S., leading to them getting married sooner than expected.
Despite these issues, Yara and Jovi have had a successful marriage, compared to their peers in the franchise. Yara and Jovi have feuded in the past over her wanting to move to Europe and settle there. Jovi hasn’t been excited about this idea at all. However, this issue may have been resolved as the couple came to the resort with a different problem. Jovi and Yara’s disagreement about their future plans makes them a regular couple and not one that’s on the brink of falling apart on 90 Day: The Last Resort season 1.
Yara & Jovi Have Regular Marital Issues
Yara and Jovi’s arrival at The Last Resort was surprising. The couple has shown no visible signs of trouble in their relationship on social media. One glance at Yara or Jovi’s accounts shows that they enjoy a healthy relationship and are seen taking frequent trips out of the country with their daughter. Yara and Jovi came to the couple’s therapy show because they couldn’t agree on having a second baby. This is something the couple had been discussing since their last appearance on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 7. It didn’t seem like an issue that would lead them to split.
They Don’t Have Explosive Fights Like The Other 90 Day: The Last Resort Couples
Yara’s biggest secret on 90 Day: The Last Resort was that she was taking birth control without telling Jovi. He was stunned that Yara decided to talk about it during a group therapy session. The matter could have been kept private and avoided being discussed among couples who are on the verge of divorce (Angela Deem and Michael Ilesanmi) or have already split (Molly Hopkins and Kelly Brown). These couples actually need therapy, unlike Jovi and Yara.

Previews of Yara and Jovi’s storyline made it look like Jovi had cheated on Yara. Yara was livid about Jovi having another woman in their bed at 2 a.m. at the resort. The woman turned out to be a drunk Angela, who disturbed Yara’s sleep by playing music in their room. Yara threatened that she would divorce him for getting drunk and partying with Angela. Jovi has never cheated on Yara, and neither has Yara. The couple will surely be the couple that exits 90 Day: The Last Resort still married.
