Little People’s Zach Roloff accused of ‘favoring’ son Jackson over daughter Lilah after fans spot ‘troubling’ detail

Zach's parenting has been scrutinized in the past

ZACH Roloff has been called out by fans for seeming to favor his oldest son over his daughter.

Zach, 33, and his wife Tori Roloff, 32, have three children together – Jackson, 6, Lilah, 4, and Josiah, 1.

In the most recent episode of LPBW, the two parents were hanging out with their kids in their living room.

Jackson and Lilah were trying to learn how to stand on one foot without falling over.

Jackson was doing a great job, although he wobbled a little, and Lilah kept her hands over her head to help keep her balance.

While watching the adorable scene, Zach quickly called out his daughter in a short tone: “Lilah’s doing it with her hands up.”

Afterward, the television star was sitting on the fireplace with Jackson, and he was speaking to him in a kind and soft voice while asking him to help get Tori’s suitcase from the garage.

He then addressed his daughter by yelling across the room: “Hey Lilah! Go help Jackson get Mom’s suitcase!”

TALKING BACK

After TLC fans saw the clip, they immediately noticed how differently Zach speaks to Jackson and Lilah.

One wrote: “This has been going on for years and is even more noticeable now that Lilah can follow Zach and Jackson around more.

“I think they make it blatantly obvious that Jackson is the favorite and constantly praise him while making Lilah the ‘difficult’ one,” added another.

A third said: “I noticed. Jackson is a golden child to Zach.”

“Have noticed this for a while and it’s getting more obvious as they get older. Someday Lilah will no doubt realize this as she grows up,” commented a fan.

A fifth said: “I’ve noticed this in other families unfortunately but they fall into this type of family that treats the oldest one as the golden child.”

MORE ABOUT ZACH

Last week, Zach was slammed by fans for struggling to care for his kids and the house without his wife.

The job appeared to be too much for the dad of three, who had trouble juggling the little ones’ morning routines.

Zach praised himself for his “efficiency” despite not doing everything up to his wife’s standards.

However, he ended up kicking himself when a producer reminded him of a note from Tori he forgot to include in Jackson’s lunchbox.

The sticky note read: “I miss you! Hope you’re having a great day!”

Zach brushed off his mistake and vowed to remember to give Jackson the note the next day.

The clip was shared on social media, and critics ripped Zach for the chaotic scene and not keeping things organized at home.

“Disorganized and chaos, not good for the children. Get up sooner,” one person wrote on Instagram.

“I hope Jackson didn’t go to school with two different shoes on,” another said, pointing out Jackson’s interesting choice of footwear.
