The Other Way Cast Member Is Called A “Sociopath” (Do They Really Deserve That?)
Many 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way fans are unhappy with how the New York-based cast member Julio broke up with his sweet Dutch girlfriend.

Many 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way viewers have labeled newcomer Julio Moya a “sociopath,” and there are a few reasons for that. The professional disc jockey initially seemed like a nice fit for his Dutch girlfriend, Kirsten Schoemaker. However, he soon proved himself to be a terrible partner by showing disrespectful behavior. When Julio started his relationship with Kirsten, he promised to move to the Netherlands to build a new life with her. However, he never meant to keep his promise, which became evident when the couple appeared on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 5.
Throughout his journey on the show, Julio didn’t show much concern and respect for Kirsten. He purposely hid his relationship status from his friends and family and didn’t tell his mother about his plans to move to the Netherlands. The 27-year-old reality star also blindsided Kirsten by asking her to move to the United States, which was never the plan. Julio’s actions on the show proved he faked the promise to woo Kirsten. He was never serious about following up and probably used his Dutch partner to appear on reality TV.
Julio Showed No Emotions While Breaking Up With Kirsten
As per a Reddit thread Yes-GoAway, many have begun calling Julio a “sociopath” because of how he broke up with Kirsten on the show. The New York man showed no emotions as he admitted he messed up and had to stay in the United States because of family responsibilities. He didn’t seem sorry for wasting Kirsten’s time and her trip to America. A Redditor shares their views on Juilo’s cold behavior toward Kirsten. Their comment read, “this guy is such a sociopath,” and claimed that Julio lacks all emotions.
Julio Smiled While Kirsten Cried
When two people who love each other split up, they often feel sad that things didn’t work out. However, Julio smiled while breaking his partner’s heart on the show. Kirsten even noticed his laugh and called him out immediately. She said, “you’re, like, making fun of me while I’m so sad. I’m emotional, and here you are making fun of me and smiling.” Julio’s smirky behavior during the emotional moment has turned many fans against him. People feel his “weird little smile and chuckling was downright mean.” 90 Day Fiancé viewers saw how happy he was after finally ending his relationship, which proved he was a bit sociopathic.
Julio’s Reason For Breakup Didn’t Make Sense
Julio didn’t have a great reason to break up with Kirsten. He shared that his mom has told him not to move to the Netherlands and stay closer to his brothers. Julio said, “for now, I think I have stuff to work out with my family, you know?” He has been traveling for a long time and has been away from his family. Therefore, it makes no sense that Julio suddenly has family duties to take care of.
