Kimberly Rochelle from 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way discussed her childhood trauma and how it impacted her life. The 30-year-old reality star had a tough relationship journey with her Indian boyfriend, Tejaswi “TJ” Goswami. While things started great, Kimberly soon realized she wasn’t ready to take the responsibility of being an Indian bride after landing in Jaipur. The couple had numerous arguments and personal differences on The Other Way season 5. Despite that, they remained together, hoping to tie the knot. Unfortunately, all the family drama made Kimberly lose hope, and she emotionally revealed to her parents that she wasn’t excited to get married anymore.
Kimberly revealed that she dreamed of being a singer at a young age. However, her mom and dad’s divorce inadvertently caused that dream to die. Kimberly shared that her mom promised to get her singing lessons if she betrayed her dad during their custody battle. Since she couldn’t do that, she gave up on the dream.
90 Day Fiancé’s Kimberly Rochelle Reveals If She Testified For Mother
Kimberly emotionally revealed that she recently sang, which made her cry. She also clarified if she testified for her mother in court and got the singing lessons. While replying to a fan, the 90 Day Fiancé star shared, “No I didn’t testify that I wanted to live with her, so I never got them.” Kimberly added that she understands her mother had her reasons for saying what she said, but it still did damage to her. The reality star added, “That doesn’t mean that it didn’t hurt then. It took almost 17 years to heal from that conversation.”
Kimberly finally received some positive light by sharing her childhood trauma. However, it will take a lot more for her to win back support after her 90 Day Fiancé behavior caused backlash. While it is sad that Kimberly endured hardships at a young age, it doesn’t excuse how she treated TJ on the show. She verbally abused her partner, mistreated his culture, undermined his efforts, and didn’t care for his feelings. Kimberly also created a lot of drama by arguing with TJ’s brother and disrespecting his mother. Hopefully, Kimberly will improve her behavior now that she has begun reflecting upon herself.
